First of all, I would give this place 10 stars if I could! My husband and I just recently got married in the area, and stumbled upon Seadar Inn about a year ago when we first selected our venue. We visited a few other nearby inns and B&Bs as well, but just fell in love with the quaintness and laid back vibe the Seadar had to offer. It turned out to be the perfect place to spend the week surrounding our wedding! Mike (and his adorable dog, Coco!) could not have been more hospitable, and we knew we were in good hands when we checked into our wedding suite to find a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us :) They also provide beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for the guests, which we took full advantage of considering Bank Street Beach is only about 100 yards away. It is also a very short walk from Main Street/Downtown Harwich Port where there are a number of restaurants and shops, and Mike knows the area very well and gave us excellent advice as far where to eat, what to do, etc. We had some other wedding guests staying with us, and there is a nice lawn area with tables and chairs where we could gather every day for some post-beach cocktails before dinner. We would run into Mike & Coco outside, as well as meet other couples and families who were staying there. It was a very relaxing atmosphere, and it really felt like home... we even extended our stay by 2 days! A big thanks to Mike and the entire staff for everything. We are already planning our anniversary trip back to the Seadar Inn next August :)

Such a great host and location! Mike is such a gracious host (and Coco, his pup, is hypoallergenic and SO DARN CUTE and well behaved). We stayed here for my sister's wedding at the Wychmere, which we could walk to. It is steps away from the Harwich Port beach. It is also steps away from Harwich town area. Couldn't get a better location. The rooms had tons of character, but were also updated recently. The AC worked great, which was much needed in August. There are free beach towels and chairs to use. And the wicker tables and chairs in the lawn became a great gathering place. The staff was super helpful and always very nice. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We couldn't have had a better experience especially since it was such a special weekend for my family. Loved it and will definitely go back!

Adorable place to stay! Perfect location- very short walking distance to town, shops, restaurants and beach. The staff was also very friendly, nice little continental breakfast, and they have beach chairs for you to use at the beach. Would highly recommend!

This a place where summer vacation memories are made. I can consider it my Cape Cod beach house... without all the troubles of owning a second home. The very personable Seadar Inn resident manager, Michael, is a real asset, doing everything possible to make your stay an enjoyable one. The location is wonderful, steps to the beach, and just a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants in Harwich Port.

Not what we expected. For $170 thought it would be nicer. Towels were what you get at a Motel 6. Our room was right above the common room and we heard everything However, great location, bed was very comfortable and although we left to get a Full breakfast, the continental breakfast that was out, looked good. If you are going to a wedding at the Wychemre you might not want to walk the path over there.... Unless you bring a flashlight for the walk back.

I stayed here for one Thursday night with my girlfriend. We are in our mid-20s and were looking to explore the cape for one day/night before heading to Boston. This was by far the best value I could've imagined. We stayed in the most standard room which had a flat screen, closet space, AC, dresser, chair, queen bed, and bathroom. The location is ideal - minutes walk from the ocean side beach (open at night), 10 min drive to Chatham, and there is much more to check out in Harwich. Michael was running the place when we stayed and he accommodated our every need. He even supplied us with extra beach towels since we traveled with none. The continental breakfast in the communal space is a nice start to the day too. When we stayed here, most of the residents were much older than us, but if you are looking for a bed and place to store your things, this is a great value.

Stayed here for a wedding over the weekend, and it was excellent. I couldn't believe how perfectly quiet it was and how lovely the accommodations were. Rooms were spacious and comfortable; I felt at home. I can't wait to come back!

I stayed in one of the "moderate rooms," as the website lists them. The room was decent. It was small, but the AC, cable, and spacious shower were nice. The bed was uncomfortable, though. The common rooms of the inn are a nice place to hang out and the continental breakfast served in the morning is really good. There were always coffee, tea, bagels, english muffins, and cereal. One morning there was also coffee cake and yogurt with fresh fruit. The other morning, there was an egg bake and fruit salad. The beach was a couple minutes' walk from the inn. My only complaint is the uncomfortable bed, which hopefully isn't a problem in the more expensive rooms.
